In Agile project management, the team's ability to deliver value is paramount. If a team acknowledges that they may not have the same level of efficiency as another team in a specific area of work, the project manager should assess the impact of a possible delay to the project. If the impact is tolerable, the team should be encouraged to take the work. This approach maintains the integrity of the team and respects their self- organization, which are key principles in Agile.
