This would have helped to ensure that the project scope, requirements, and deliverables were feasible, realistic, and aligned with the product vision and customer expectations. It would have also enabled the agile project lead to anticipate and mitigate any potential technical or organizational impediments that could affect the project execution and delivery. By performing this assessment and risk identification early in the project, the agile project lead could have avoided the situation where a team member discovered a technical gap midway through implementation that required rework and communication to all stakeholders.
