The benefit of adding Cisco HyperFlex Hardware Acceleration Cards to a HyperFlex deployment is increased compression efficiency. These cards are PCIe devices that offload the compression and decompression operations from the CPU, resulting in higher performance and lower latency for most storage workloads. The cards also reduce the CPU utilization and power consumption of the HyperFlex nodes, enabling more resources for other applications. The other options (offline encryption acceleration, increased network throughput, and GPU acceleration) are not benefits of the HyperFlex Hardware Acceleration Cards.
