To reduce the impact on recorded video during server maintenance, Video Management Software (VMS) partners can incorporate local storage at the camera. This feature allows the camera to continue recording video on its internal storage (such as an SD card) during network or server downtime, ensuring continuous video capture. Once the server is back online, the recorded footage can be transferred back to the central storage.
