The goal is to support occupant health, comfort, satisfaction, and productivity. Indoor Air Quality is an important part of Indoor Environmental Quality, but it is not the full LEED category name. Indoor Energy Quality and Indoor Efficiency Quality are not LEED credit categories. For the LEED Green Associate exam, it is important to distinguish the official category name from related concepts. EQ is broader than air quality alone because it includes comfort, lighting, acoustics, and overall occupant experience.
