Endpoint DLP builds on Microsoft Defender for Endpoint integration. Before enabling Endpoint DLP, you must turn on device onboarding in Microsoft Purview to allow devices (like Device1) to be enrolled. After onboarding, you can assign DLP policies to endpoints.
