HPE OneView provided native integration and deeper management capabilities for HPE 3PAR arrays, including provisioning, monitoring, and volume management.
With HPE Primera, HPE shifted to a different architecture and management model, and OneView no longer provides the same depth of integration. Instead, HPE Primera is primarily managed using HPE Primera's own management interface (HPE SSMC or HPE Infosight).
As a result, HPE OneView's support for Primera is limited - it can do basic monitoring through SAN integrations but does not support deep management like volume provisioning or CPG management as it did with 3PAR.
