RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is the point in time to which data must be recovered after a disaster or interruption. It represents the maximum amount of data loss that the organization can tolerate. In this case, the company agreed that the acceptable amount of data loss is no more than two hours, therefore two hours should be documented as the RPO. The maximum amount of downtime (Recovery Time Objective) for critical applications is no more than six hours, this is not related to RPO.
