Analytical apps provide insight into the real-time operations of the business by collecting and displaying analytic information and indicators, such as KPIs, directly in the browser. Fact sheet apps display contextual information and key facts about central objects used in the business operations. Both types of apps consume data immediately from the SAP HANA database, mainly through search models. Transactional apps and classic applications, on the other hand, can run on any database supported by the SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP.
