Explanation A type II hypervisor is a software application that runs on top of a host operating system and creates virtual machines that are isolated from the host. A type II hypervisor provides the highest level of isolation from the host operating system because it does not have direct access to the hardware resources and relies on the host operating system for drivers and services. A type II hypervisor also allows the guest operating systems to run different types of operating systems than the host.
